FUNK FOR ALL
COMMUNITY TICKET PROGRAM
Funk for All is a new community ticket initiative that will provide 600 complimentary tickets to residents of Greater New Orleans who face a financial barrier to attending the 2026 NOLA Funk Fest.
The program is underwritten by Funky Tucks and administered through trusted community organizations already serving the people and neighborhoods of our region.

on Friday, August 21, 2026.
About the Program
Funk for All will make 200 complimentary tickets available for each day of the 2026 NOLA Funk Fest, taking place October 16–18 at Audubon Aquarium Riverfront Park.
Community organizations may apply for up to 20 tickets across the festival’s three days. Tickets are intended for residents of Orleans Parish and the Greater New Orleans area who could not otherwise afford admission.
Tickets will not be distributed directly to individuals. Instead, NOLA Funk Fest will partner with organizations that have meaningful, established relationships with the residents they serve.
Who may apply?
Eligible applicants include:

Federal- and state-recognized nonprofit organizations

Faith-based organizations

Neighborhood and civic associations

Social aid and pleasure clubs

Cultural and heritage organizations

Public schools and youth organizations

Established community groups operating without formal incorporation
Applicant organizations should serve residents of Orleans Parish or the Greater New Orleans area and be able to identify community members for whom ticket cost is a genuine barrier to attending the festival.
Individuals should not submit applications directly. Residents interested in participating should connect with an eligible organization in their community.

3. Ticket Requests Will Be Reviewed
Each organization may request up to 20 tickets across the three festival days.
Because ticket inventory is limited, NOLA Funk Fest may award fewer tickets than requested or assign tickets for a different festival day based on availability.
4. Selected Organizations Distribute Their Tickets
Participating organizations will place the tickets with qualifying residents they know and meaningfully serve.

LOUISIANA MUSIC & HERITAGE EXPERIENCE
The Louisiana Music & Heritage Experience (LMHE) is a forthcoming museum of grand scale dedicated to the preservation of the state’s rich musical history. LMHE will tell the story of Louisiana’s music from the African-American, Native American, French and Spanish influences through all genres of today. An educational institution, LMHE will use exhibits, live music, storytelling with music and interactives to empower and inspire. LMHE will incorporate training programs for musicians, as well as stage, light and sound managers and others. Asynchronous learning programs with lesson plans for teachers will be available for all ages from elementary school to adults so the world will know our story.
